Vintage RARE 1940s Atlas Corp BB-1 "baby boom arm" microphone floor stand extension MS-10C MC-12C MS25 MS20 # 2

 You are looking at a very rare 1st generation Atlas brand BB-1 "Baby boom arm" model from the 1940's era that will work great as an extension on any microphone floor stand you have. This particular example was built in Brooklyn, New York when Atlas Corp first became a company. You'll notice right away that while the counterweight and chrome riser / stem is basically the same as the 2nd gen BB-1, the joint mechanism is completely different.

 Pic # 2 shows this very model in an old late 1950's Atlas data sheet I have along with several other Atlas items.

 These early boom arms are so rare that I have only come across and offered one other example about 10 years ago. This is a very special find.

 The boom arm was designed to sit atop your stand giving you extra length upwards or outwards depending on your needs and these are particularly good if you are a seated musician or broadcaster as you can angle your mic away from yourself or your audio equipment.

 This is a high quality build that comes with the polished chrome stem, painted counter weight and painted joint mechanism. This boom arm is appx 31 inches long and in very good overall condition. It's 100% complete as well.

 It's not perfect physically speaking but it does look far nicer than most you'll come across if you can even find another?   Just typical wear on the joint mechanism and counter weight but I'd rate it a true 7 on a scale of 1 - 10. The chrome riser / stem looks very nice as well. This BB-1 functions perfectly Please let the detailed pics be your guide. 

 A great accessory for just about any situation. This BB-1 does not screw onto the top of your stand. It simply slides onto any stand you have then you tighten the screw to set it into place.

 If you demand a rare Atlas Corp accessory from the 1940's then this BB-1 will do nicely.
