Gibson 1966 ES-330TDC, Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard, Cherry

Originally introduced as the Gibson Electric Spanish Series in 1949, the "ES" has become a mainstay and legend in the history of music. This well maintained ES-330TDC proves why 60s Gibsons have stayed so sought after over the years.

Made at the end of Ted McCarty's tenure as President of Gibson Guitar Corporation in 1966, this hollow-body guitar is in great condition for it's age. The resonant sound of the curly maple body is complimented by a one-piece mahogany neck and Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. The all original electronics provide unmatched tone from the adjustable pole P-90 pickups.

The finish has beautifully darkened, and has subtle checking throughout that is only visible in bright lights. It has typical wear expected from a guitar this age with some finish wear, scratches, scuffs, chips, and impressions. The original case left marks in the finish that are mostly visible on the back of the guitar. The original and a modern Gibson case come with it. Overall this 1966 ES-330TDC is in great playing condition making it ready for the studio, the stage, or solely as a collection piece.
