Gibson Custom Shop 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue
Honey Burst (1996)
This is a Gibson Custom Shop early-era 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue, built in 1996.
As an early reissue from the Custom Shop, it features a distinct neck profile and a tighter, more solid tone compared to modern reissues.
Les Pauls from the 1990s are widely regarded as some of the best in Gibson’s history, particularly for their use of high-quality maple tops.
This guitar is fitted with a high-grade flame maple top, showing deep yet tasteful figuring that is evenly distributed without being overly flashy.
The combination with the Honey Burst finish results in a very classic and well-balanced visual appearance.
This instrument has seen a fair amount of real-world playing.
There are numerous buckle scratches and small marks on the back of the body.
All wear is purely cosmetic and does not affect playability or structural integrity.
Weight: approximately 4.07 kg (about 9.0 lbs)
Includes: original Gibson brown hard case
A great example of a 1990s Custom Shop Les Paul, ideal for players who appreciate the solid tone and feel of early reissue models.
