For sale is an AKG D1000E that sounds great. I have zero doubts this microphone functions as it should. This microphone has some wear on the body, but nothing that affects function. Most importantly, there is brand-new foam inside the grille. Normally the foam is completely missing inside or crumbling, which leads them to sound worse than they should. Lastly, these AKG mics from the 70s were not the most durable or resistant to drops, so certainly be wary when buying them with limited details.
If you want a great sounding D1000E that has zero faults, this would be the one to buy!
