Great example of SCGC craftsmanship. Mostly standard appointments for the Vintage Artist, however there are two custom options to note:
East Indian Rosewood back and sides
No fret markers
Standard 1 11/16” Nut width
Condition-wise, the guitar is in fantastic shape and has mostly lived in its case. I have only pulled it out a handful of times in the couple years that I have owned it. There is virtually no play wear, however, as with many SCGC guitars at this age, there is some finish crazing. I do believe it adds a particular character to the guitar.
I have had the guitar evaluated and valued professionally and am willing to negotiate some.
The guitar does deserve to be played and I would prefer to keep it, but honestly it’s just a chunk of money tied up in something not being used.
