*This is a used amplifier in very good condition
*This is a consignment item

*Observations: The serial number on this head is gone, so dating it precisely isn't possible, but all of the features indicate a birthday somewhere between the late 70s and very early 80s.

Condition here is very good for an amp of this vintage. The Bass knob is missing, and the Master, Mid and Treble knobs have been replaced. There are lots of dings, dents and small tears in the tolex, but it is mostly intact. One of the plastic amp corners is missing and one has cracked-off edges. The plastic vent panel on the top of the amp has two cracked edges and is slightly warped.

There are three holes in the back panel, two small and one larger, indicating it was modded at one point in time. The previous owner didn't know what the mods were, but he reports that he had the amp serviced by the late Jon Bessent of Austin's ToneCraft amp repair shop back in 2009, who replaced the caps and tubes. He says that Jon determined that the mods had been reversed. We unfortunately cannot verify all of this with documentation, but Bessent did leave a dated sticker inside the amp verifying that he did indeed service it.

Having said all that, the tone of this head is absolutely killer. It is incredibly loud, as one would expect, with all of the percussive, toothy grind that these amps are famous for. Think late 70s AC/DC and you'll get the idea. It's a rocker!
