Up for sale is a 2020 Fender American Performer Stratocaster, finished in a beautiful transparent brown burst that shows off the wood grain (often referred to as Sienna Sunburst).
This is an already solid USA-made Strat, but this one has been tastefully upgraded with a set of genuine Fender USA Texas Special pickups. These bring a bit more output, stronger mids, and that classic Texas-style bite while still keeping the sparkle and clarity you expect from a Strat. Clean tones are bold and chimey, and when pushed, the guitar delivers a thick, expressive lead tone that really sings.
There’s also a very useful mod: a push-pull on the last tone knob that gives you an additional wiring option. It lets you combine pickups in series for a fuller, more humbucker-like sound, similar in concept to the S-1 switching found on Fender’s higher-end models. It makes this Strat way more versatile, covering both traditional glassy Strat sounds and fatter, punchier tones in one guitar.
The guitar is in excellent cosmetic and technical condition with virtually no noticeable wear. The neck feels great, frets are in excellent shape, and everything works exactly as it should.
This is a great option if you want a USA Strat with upgraded tone, extra versatility, and a standout finish, all without going into custom shop price territory.
The following work has been done: full cleaning, lemon oil fretboard treatment, fret polishing and string height setup (2.3 mm at the 12th fret on the low E string), pickup height adjusted for balance and clarity, and a fresh set of D'Addario XL 10/46 strings installed.
