Here is an Oahu branded Valco (Supro) valve combo from the early 1950s. We think 1953-1955. It appr 8 watts and sounds wonderful. These were originally made for lap-steel guitar players to match the Oahu lap steel guitars. This one is in original condition with the only mod being a line out to use with a cab speaker. The condition is quite good with a few scuffs on the tolex (see pics). The chassis is clean. This amp comes from a collector and is original. The caps should be replaced and a grounded two-pronged installed. It has been tested on a variac and is working well. We suggest all vintage amps in original condition be serviced by a qualified tech before regular use.

A vintage 1953 Oahu tube combo amp in nice condition. Manufactured by Valco, this amp is electrically idential to Supro models from this time period. This one is as simple as it gets. A single 6SL7 preamp with a single volume and tone control drives a pair of single-ended 6V6s for approximately 8 watts of power. Its woody, tweed-esque tone is perfect for lower-volume practice and recording providing a warm, edge of breakup feel on command.
