Here’s a mint Fender Princeton Reverb with never touched circuit board all original tubes and probably has 1-2 hours max playtime on it. Bought it from the original owner in Whittier California, was a trumpet player and his Dad wanted him to get into guitar. Santa dropped it off brand new in 1975 and the little unappreciative brat scowled and put the cover back on it and set it in his closet for 50 damn years. I was scrolling facebook marketplace in beautiful Fullerton Ca one fine Sunday morning and breezed right past this one figuring it was a pristine new 68’ Reissue, but somehow realized it wasn’t and quickly scrolled back praying that the app wouldn’t refresh. well it didn’t and after clicking on the ad lo and behold, stumbled upon a virtually NOS 75 princeton reverb. Met up with the owner within 20 minutes and he said the ad had been up for less than an hour and he already had over 75 messages on it! We traded stories and i took the amp home, plugged it into a variac and waited slowly turning it up for hours to see if i could “refill” the caps. Well when enough time had passed i turned up the volume and it worked! It sounds exactly how it would come from the factory minus needing a power supply recap which makes it more noisy. If you’re a collector there is not a better PR on the market for you, and arguably has there ever been.
