This vintage Westone Spectrum ST bass was built in Japan between 1985 & 1986 at the Matsumoku factory.
Specs;
Solid Maple body
Hard Maple neck
Rosewood fingerboard
graphite nut
34 inch scale
21 frets
single Magnabass I pickup
volume and tone controls
Glide Trak bridge
Freshly oiled fretboard and polished frets.
Neck is straight and action was adjusted and is tight.
Intonation was set for standard tuning.
Volume and tone pots were treated with deoxit to prevent crackling and lubricate the shaft for better performance.
This classic rock machine is ready for you to plug in and play.
New set of D'Addario EXL170 45-100 strings.
Shows a lot of cosmetic wear and signs of use.
I believe the body was originally white and was (not so greatly) painted black before my time of ownership. See photos for details.
