While twin-neck guitars evoke a certain romanticism, many people wonder about their practicality and the differences between different eras.

The Gibson EDS-1275 is no mere oddity; it's a special model that has evolved with the times and is remembered for its many memorable performances.

This model is a late-model model, discontinued in 1967 and restarted around 1974. During this hiatus, Led Zeppelin IV was released in 1971, and the image of Jimmy Page playing an EDS-1275 on stage became a global phenomenon. Partly as a result, production of the 1970s EDS-1275 increased compared to the 1960s.

A distinctive feature of the '70s model was the change to Gibson Deluxe tuning machines with plates. This reduced the spacing between the tuning machine buttons and resulted in a more compact head size. This model is visually refined and offers a noticeable improvement in weight balance.

This white-colored EDS-1275 has the same specifications as the guitar played by Eagles' Don Felder in 1977's "Hotel California." It features the perfect specifications of that era, which produced that memorable interplay between 12-string and 6-string.

With a white body and small headstock, it stands out on stage and boasts the persuasive power of historic performances. Bring a guitar reminiscent of Hotel California into your hands. The EDS-1275 is perfect for anyone seeking both the romance and practicality of a double-neck guitar.
