The 2005 Schecter Diamond Series C-1+ (Plus) is a high-value Korean-made solidbody electric guitar known for its premium, "shredder" aesthetic and versatile, punchy tone. It features a mahogany body with a carved flame maple top, a 25.5" scale mahogany neck, 24 jumbo frets, and a string-through-body Tune-o-matic bridge.
The guitar is in very good condition and was just set-up in our shop @ Arizona Guitars and Gear.
Key features of the 2005 C-1+ include:
- Pickups & Electronics: Duncan Designed humbuckers (often HB-102 or similar) that provide high-output, versatile tones suitable for rock and metal. It includes a push/pull tone control for coil-splitting, allowing for single-coil sounds.
- Neck & Playability: A set-neck construction with a "Ultra Access" heel contour, allowing for easy access to the upper frets. The neck is generally a thin "D" shape.
- Hardware: Grover tuners and a TonePros locking Tune-o-matic bridge, ensuring tuning stability.
- Aesthetics: Vintage Sunburst finishes with cream binding.
- Overall Quality: Regarded as a high-performance, well-built instrument from the mid-2000s era of Schecter's Korean manufacturing, frequently compared to higher-end models for its features.
