I am professional flutist and the original owner of this 1960 Haynes flute. It went through a complete overhaul 11 months ago. Hopefully the pictures I posted gives you a good view of the pads. There are pics of the Burkart Headjoint I am including. It took 2 slivers of silver tape for it to fit perfectly in the Haynes. Included in the pics is an appraisal from a few years back, for insurance purposes only. Ie: a replacement value at $12,320.00, for the same model new, of course. If it wasn't for the simple fact the flute is 65 years old, I would post it as MINT. Thank you for your interest.
