SST-282 uses time delay techniques to transform a mono source into a new, stereo, output signal.
SPACE STATION has eight audible tap delays that create the main soundscape, and are called Audition Delay Taps, the others are used to synthesise reverberation and echo. The SST-282 can be compared to a multi-head tape recorder, operating a 255ms long tape loop.
This unit will breath the new life and stereo width into any old mono source.
