Another great instrument from our Consignment Collection. Very cool vintage F-2 mandolin from around 1921. As most players know, it’s a little difficult to pinpoint an exact year on these vintage Gibson mandolins.
No cracks and the typical wear and tear that you would expect from an instrument that is over 100 years old. Some fretwear but still plays great. And that tone !!
Highly sought-after with a carved spruce top and maple back and sides. Oval Soundhole, Ivoroid binding. Warm, rich tone. Kalamazoo made.
Comes with a well padded travel case. This did not come in with the original case. Really nice mandolin for sure.
