One of a kind Peter Erskine Signature Snare from Yamaha.
This particular snare has been given a custom upgrade from Mokke's Drum Laboratory in Florence, Italy, and is on file with a serial number and date (April 1990.) Drum is actually in near-mint condition with the following upgrades:
The dual lugs, commonly thought to be single lugs, are prone to corrosion on these snares. These lugs have been taken through an intensive restoration process that includes stripping the corroded gold plating followed by a rechroming process using new layers of copper, nickel, and chromium to achieve a like-new finish. This is similar to the processs used for automotive bumpers providing a durable, mirror-like finish.
The rest of the drum is all original and is near-mint condition. Check out the pics. Original die cast aluminum hoops from Yamaha are near perfect with only a few hints of wear. The dual- strainer is perfectly intact and functioning and includes all original screws and drum key bolts. Even the original Japan snares are original. You won't find a better Peter Erskine Yamaha Signature snare.
