The only Greco like that in the whole world! The idea is a bass for stoner rock and other genres that require a ton of lows and mud;)
Visually it's like saloon doors in an old western;) Originally a regular jazz bass
The factory pickup holes have been filled with fitting alder blocks and the front has been covered with a thin oak veneer. Both the top and the rest of the guitar have been dyed and patinated, finished obviously in our hard sealer topped with thin nitro with minimal relic'ing. With a milled new slot for a DiMarzio Model One pickup, which sounds exatcly as it looks! The guitar has a new brushed stainles steel control plate and new electronics.
The neck is original, a classic maple + rosewood combo with rectangual markers and is decorated with binding. The rest of the hardware has authentic 40-years-old patina
The guitar went thruogh a thorough restoration:
- Fret levelling, crowning and polishing,
Cleaning and maintenance of the fretboard,
New electronics,
New jack socket
