This is a Fuzz Face made with parts from a 1970‘s Delco am car radio. The circuit topology is based on the 1970’s Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face. This circuit uses an extremely rare A67K silicon transistor, which came from the Delco radio. It is extremely aggressive and has lots of sustain. I paired it with a Germanium MP11 to mellow it out and give some warmth. All parts in the circuit are from the 1970s Delco radio except for the MP11 transistor and one 470 ohm resistor.
The middle knob is a bias adjustment which controls the texture of the fuzz. This pedal also has the Stolhand pre-gain mod.
