NS Design CR Series Electric Violin (Fretted, 4-String) With Flight Case

This is a NS Design flagship model, CR4. I really like this violin. The reason I am selling is I've decided to switch to a fretless model which works better for me as a classically trained violinist.

Violin Body is Mint. All Electronics Work Perfectly, including a good 9V battery. No cosmetic issues. Strings are good. The flight case is in good condition. The included owner manuals / instructions are very helpful for things like adjusting the bridge height, replacing strings, installing the included shoulder rest. There are also some youtube videos online to help you learn the instrument and its maintenance.

Some of the features to highlight are:

SOLID MAPLE BODY AND NECK: which is makes it lightweight but properly balanced and sonically efficient with the active pickup. Speaking of pickups, they're among the very best I've ever tried on an electric fiddle - noiseless and clean in any setup. The tuning system stays extremely stable over time. very stable even with changes in temperature and humidity. The ergonomic shoulder and chin rest are highly customizable.

BRIDGE PICKUP: The Polar directional piezo pickup system responds selectively to either vertical vibration (for the sustained plucked sound, like a mandolin), or lateral vibration (for dynamic bowing, and a percussive plucked sound).

ACTIVE ELECTRONICS: The dual mode preamp allows the player to choose between two very distinct tone qualities. The first mode delivers the full frequency response of modern low impedance electronics, for a rich, full-blown "electric violin" sound. The second is balanced to produce the frequency response of the traditional violin, for a more "acoustic" sound. A three-way toggle switch allows the player to select the desired pickup and electronics options. Additional controls include volume and individual bass EQ & treble EQ controls.

PRECISION TUNING HARDWARE: With the NS Design patented tuning system, remarkably precise and stable tuning is accomplished entirely behind the bridge, in the manner similar to the fine tuners of an acoustic instrument. With the elimination of the traditional scroll and pegs, weight is shifted in towards the body of the player for optimum comfort.
