The Auditor is designed to process line-level signals received via the rear input connectors of a standard 500 Series chassis and deliver them to its headphone output. In addition, it passes the signal through to the rear output connectors of the standard 500 Series chassis for further processing. This way, it can effectively drive a pair of monitor speakers or additional Auditor headphone amplifiers.
