Hello.

I built this double neck guitar/bass myself. I also made it for myself, but I've just never worked up the nerve to go out as a single looping act.

When I first made it about 12 years ago, I posted it on *bay, where someone offshore copied all the pictures and began counterfeiting the "Joe Till Guitars Doubleneck Guitar/Bass". Yep, they even used my name in their advertising. I think they thought I was a celebrity endorser.

Regardless, I've never had anything to do with those thieves. And this is the original and only doubleneck I've ever made. March will mark my 30th anniversary as an independent guitar builder. I've been in the same shop in Westlake Village, Ca the whole time.

There is very little evidence of this guitar having been played. I am the only person ever to handle it, and it has never been out of my shop. It has a clear lacquer finish that has begun to check here and there.

It weighs 12.6 pounds, which isn't that much more than a lot of single necks I'm seeing these days.

The top is a very old bookmatched piece of Koa repurposed from a captain's desk going back to the 1800s - I was told by my source. Then, there's a semi-hollow Alder middle section. The back is nicely flamed soft Maple.

The bolt-on necks are laminated figured Hard Maple and Black Walnut, with Birdseye Maple fretboards. Both have jumbo frets. The guitar has a 24 3/4" scale. The bass has a 30" scale.

Seymour Duncan Sh-4(br) and Sh-1(n) with coil splitting on the guitar, Dimarzio humbucker on the bass side. Two output jacks. 3 way selector for individual or both at the same time.

I will not accept returns on this guitar. Please ask me anything you'd like about this guitar. I'm sure there are things I'm not thinking of to mention here.

I keep it in a crude plywood case here in my shop. You're welcome to it, but it will add to the shipping weight considerably.

It has been awhile since I've sold guitars here, and I do not know the shipping routine. The calculator says about $100 for UPS. But with insurance, I think it will come closer to $200 or more.
