This 1976 Alvarez Yairi 5075 is a 50 year old high-quality, Japanese-handcrafted dreadnought, often praised in reviews as a "Martin D-18 killer" due to its powerful, balanced tone and superb craftsmanship. Known for its solid spruce top, mahogany back/sides, and long sustain, it features a warm, woody tone with strong, piano-like bass.
This instrument is 50 years old, with beautiful finish crazing and the play wear to go with those years. She has not been abused, but she has been loved on. Overall good condition, player grade instrument with killer vintage tone. Comes with a heavy protective tavel case, just not the original plastic molded case - that was tore-up from the floor-up, and had to go.
