For sale is a rare Ibanez H.R. Giger Bass, model SRXHRG1, released in 2006 as part of a limited collaboration between Ibanez and the legendary Swiss artist H.R. Giger (best known for his work on Alien and for having a hole museum in Switzerland).
This is the only bass ever produced in the H.R. Giger series, increasingly hard to find on the market, making it a highly collectible instrument (only 500 made) as well as a fully professional, stage-ready bass.
Artwork & Design
The body features striking biomechanical artwork inspired by H.R. Giger’s “NY City X”, giving the instrument a dark, surreal and unmistakable visual presence. The artwork is factory-original and an integral part of the instrument’s identity.
If you look in the market, you can find some made in mexico Fender guitars being sold in second-hand or at auctions, with painted artwork by artists who aren't globally known like H.R. Giger, and selling for around 2000€, without being an oficial model like this one.
