This is a 1960’s Telefunken ECC83/12AX7. It has been tested for audio quality and sounds exceptional with slight microphonics in our test amp (personally I found this one to be the liveliest of the bunch). All ECC83/12AX7s were tested thoroughly in our 1960’s Supro Super in the V1 stage at various volumes. This amp was chosen as it is point-to-point construction and has a very short signal path for a pure, unfiltered sound. It also has relatively high gain which allowed us to hear the break up character of the tube. It Is in great physical shape with most of the lettering still intact and straight pins.
