The Les Paul Standard 50s Figured is crafted with a mahogany body and a maple cap with a gorgeous, highly figured maple veneer, delivering the rich midrange punch of mahogany along with a touch of brightness from the maple cap. It also has a mahogany neck with a 1959 Rounded Medium C-profile and long neck tenon for exceptional stability and added sustain. The fretboard is now rosewood and features pearloid trapezoid inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets.
The Kalamazoo headstock is equipped with Epiphone’s Vintage Deluxe tuners and a Graph Tech nut, ensuring solid tuning stability, while the other ends of the strings pass over an Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and are anchored with a LockTone Stop Bar tailpiece. The Les Paul Standard 50s is powered by a pair of critically acclaimed Epiphone ProBucker humbuckers, with a ProBucker 1 in the neck position and a slightly hotter ProBucker 2 in the bridge for a balanced tone in all three switch positions. The pickups are wired to CTS pots using 50s-style wiring, and the controls are topped with gold Top Hat knobs with dial pointers.
