Offered is a very cool 6.5" x 15", 8 lug Ludwig Auditorium snare that is dated Dec 20 1960 inside the shell. According to the 1960 Ludwig Catalog, it is a Model 417M, (M for the Mahogany finish ply as opposed to being a wrapped finish). This is a transitional era drum where Ludwig was still using parts with the WFL logo. See throw-off and butt. The hardware is nickel plated as are the brass hoops. Everything on the drum works as it should. It would be a great candidate for a re-wrap project. The drum shows scuffs and dings from it's 60+ years of life.
