Selling my beautiful rare 2001 MIK Les Paul Standard Limited Edition gold sparkle top in very good to excellent condition with just a few surface scratches on the back and top very hard to see. The gold has faded a bit to a silver patina. Beautiful mahogany back and neck with awesome wood grain.
The pickups and electronics have been upgraded to 2023 Epiphone Les Paul Classic with push/pull volume pots that split the coils and one of the tone pots is an out of phase push/pull pot. You can get a lot of different tones out of it. Cream plastics and zebra pickups really make this guitar pop. Control knobs are from a LP Classic as well.
I replaced the switch cover on the back with a Epiphone limited edition emblem. Has new roller bridge and chrome stop bar tailpiece. Rosewood 12” radius neck is nice and straight with minimal fret wear. It’s nice and straight up and down and the action is nice and low. Strung with Ernie Ball 10’s. New Wilkinson Deluxe tuners with yellow tulip buttons holds the tune well.
Comes with a new brown Les Paul hard case. Weighs in at a nice light 7lbs 10oz. This is one of my favorite Les Paul’s in my collection but it’s time to find a new home. Thanks for looking and let me know if any questions.
