The Cherry Top Tele is a handbuilt, one-of-one electric guitar from Solano Speed Shop, completed in Summer 2025. It’s built with clean, tone-forward materials and a classic outline, offering familiar playability paired with thoughtful custom touches.

This guitar’s body blends cherry and mahogany with subtle upper-bout chambering and a natural Tru-Oil finish — it’s resonant, balanced, and warm without being muddy. The neck is a single-piece flamed hard maple with carbon rods and a double-action truss rod for stability and long-term tuning consistency. The ziricote fretboard feels solid and precise under the hand, and the 25.5″ scale / Classic C profile makes the instrument comfortable whether you’re fretting chords or picking single-note lines.

Electronics are simple but effective: Fender Custom Shop Twisted Telecaster single-coils with a three-way selector and traditional volume/tone control (with a bleed circuit for clarity). This setup delivers the familiar Tele spirit — snappy, articulate, and dynamic — with enough character to stand out in a mix.

Hardware is solid and road-ready, including a modern bridge with individual saddles, hipshot open-gear tuners, and Schaller S-Lock strap buttons. The overall setup is balanced, with comfortable action and strong intonation across the neck.
