The Shockwave Tele is a one-of-one, handbuilt electric guitar from Solano Speed Shop with a bold visual character and refined playability. Built in Summer 2023, this bolt-on solidbody combines premium materials and thoughtful appointments in an instrument that feels solid in the hand and versatile through the amp.

The body is crafted from flamed maple with a satin oil finish in pink, purple, and rose tones that stand out without sacrificing tone — the wood speaks clearly and resonates with balance and clarity. The multi-piece laminated maple/roasted maple/purpleheart neck with carbon rods and a double-action truss rod stays stable and responsive, while the ebony fretboard and modern C profile feel familiar and comfortable across the 25.5″ scale.

Electronics are versatile and performance-ready: dual Dylan Talks Tone PAF-style humbuckers with a 3-way selector and independent series/single-coil/parallel switching for each pickup give you a wide range of tones from beefy and saturated to cleaner, more articulate sounds. Simple volume and tone controls keep things intuitive and usable on stage or in the studio.

Hardware is solid and stable, with Hipshot bridge and tuners and premium control components. The satin oil finish and clean setup make this guitar comfortable to play right out of the case and reliable over time.
