Up for sale is a KILLER and exceedingly rare 1993 Fender Japan TLR-65SP Telecaster in very good condition and perfect working order. The original TL-Vintage pickups sound fantastic—bright, articulate, and full of classic Tele snap.
Cosmetically, this guitar is very clean for its age and has clearly been well cared for. That said, it has seen some playtime and shows a few mild, typical signs of use—including a handful of small dings and chips, plus some light surface swirling from handling and cleaning. The factory Gold Sparkle finish looks stunning under stage lights and remains vibrant with no major flake loss.
This guitar is all original! Serial number N032735 dates the guitar to 1993–94, built at the FujiGen Gakki factory in Japan. These Craft Collection sparkle models were produced for a short run and were never offered for U.S. export, making them increasingly hard to find. I’ve never seen another one in Gold! In fact, we can barely find any info on them (save for a screenshot of a Fender Japan catalog detailing this model) let alone other sold examples.
