Taylor K14ce – Exceptional Condition | Warm, Broken-In Koa Tone | Torrefied Spruce/Koa | Grand Auditorium | V-Class Bracing | 2018

This Taylor K14 is an outstanding instrument and has been meticulously cared for since day one. It is in mint overall condition, played just enough for the koa to open up and develop a rich, warm, and resonant tone.

The guitar has never been gigged, toured, or taken out of the home—only lightly played in a controlled environment. It has always been stored in its case with humidipacks, and it has been handled with great care throughout its life.

Condition details:

Two very small cosmetic blemishes that are only visible under specific lighting.

One small ding near the cutaway toward the end of the neck. The photo makes this appear more noticeable than it is in person. This could be easily and inexpensively filled or repaired easily.

Comes with original hard shell case, but the case is in rough condition. It was dragged during a house move so some of the vinyl is peeling off and one buckle is slightly off. The guitar was NOT affected by the damage on the case.

One standout feature of this guitar is the unique koa back. The wood character is distinct, and I’ve had difficulty finding another K14 with a similar grain pattern—this one truly has its own personality.
