Condition & notes

The cabinet shows some light scratches on the tolex, consistent with normal stage use. They are purely cosmetic, do not affect the overall look, and do not impact sound or functionality in any way.

Structurally solid, speakers and wiring are 100% functional and it sounds great at any volume.

Reason for sale

Selling only due to a switch to a full digital rig. The cabinet has never let me down and is ready for rehearsals, studio, or live use straight away.

Why this cabinet

A dependable, great-sounding 2×12 that pairs perfectly with Laney heads (GH, VH, Ironheart, etc.) but also works flawlessly with Marshall, Orange, Peavey, and similar amps. Big sound, manageable size, excellent value.

Fully functional and ready to play.

Perfect for players who want serious stage volume and clarity without the bulk of a 4×12.

Loaded with two Celestion Seventy 80 (70/80) speakers. A solid, no-nonsense cabinet designed for gigging, rehearsal, and studio use, offering reliability, punch, and versatility.

This is a closed-back 2×12 cab rated at 160W RMS, capable of handling modern high-gain heads as well as classic tube and solid-state amps. The GS212IE can be used in mono or stereo, making it ideal both as a main cabinet or as part of a larger rig.
The Celestion Seventy 80 speakers deliver a balanced and modern voicing: tight lows, clear mids, and a present but controlled top end. They work well across multiple styles—rock, hard rock, metal, blues, and pop—making this cabinet a true all-rounder.
