This unit was pulled from the storage, looks pristine, and has been in limited use at my studio. It functions exactly as it should.

The Universal Audio UREI 565T Filter Set is nicknamed the 'Little Dipper' for good reason. This unit has some of the tightest notch filters ever made. Use it as designed, or experiment with extreme phasing effects and more.

Originally designed for the surgical removal of very specific sonic problems. The 'Little Dipper' has very tight band filters, with a 5% Q. The Little Dipper does both precise and transparent cuts as well as tight boosts.

Features

  • Low cutoff filter tunable from 20 to 200 Hz; 18 dB-per-octave
  • High cutoff filter tunable from 2 to 20 kHz; 18 dB-per-octave
  • 6 Q settings on each band--three for the notches, three for the peaks
  • Two bands of Notch/Band Pass filters
  • Range control for frequency multiplier of 1x - 10x - 100x
  • Coarse and Fine controls for frequency selection
  • Overall bypass switch
  • 565T: Balanced (with output transformer), allowing connection to professional 600-ohm loads.
