Fully Refurbished Tube Hi-Fi Amplifier with Magnetic Phono Cartridge Input

Listening to Tube is a completely different experience. Sound on this amp appears as: present (right in front of you), naturalness, brilliance, amazing detail, warmth, airyness. Only "fully refurbished" brings out these qualities, as aged parts take them away. This amp has magnetic phone cartridge input which means: can be used with any modern turntable - tube vinyl listening that really amazes! - This amplifier way overemphasizes the highs if trebble control is all the way turned up, so actually creates "coloring" of sound (completely unique in this amp - Bass is really warm - I have never any other amp doing this) in this regard, but that can be taken out completely by turning the treble control near the minimum. Vacuum Tubes are more sensitive than other circuitry, so there is more detail in the audio.

Work Performed to present this unit as fully refurbished: Replaced/Upgraded capacitors, Re-wired 2 tube sockets so that off the shelf tubes can be used instead of having to find rare obsolete tubes, Treated all controls, tube sockets and switches with contact cleaner Once amplifier working: Honed in on details tests to replace parts to bring chanel performance closer to each other. Full functional and duration test. Physical cleaning and detail work.

Physical Condtion: Typical for age sings of aging and use, overall good. Stereo/Mono switch: the handle is broken of but it still can be operated by inserting an object - rarely needed is currently set to "stereo"
