Designed in the 80's by Dan Lawrence, the mighty ST3 Retro II makes a triumphant return. Without question the starting place for the Legacy Gunslinger/ST3 began with the exact duplication of Dan's creation in order to call it a B.C. Rich Legacy. The ST3 Retro II is one of the most sought after Bolton Shredders that B.C. Rich brought back into the arsenal. At the heart of the ST3 Retro II you find a Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo, single Seymour Duncan SH6 Custom Distortion Pickup. SSL6 neck and middle pickups and Locking Grover Tuning machines.

Seymour Duncan Pickups The SH6 Custom B.C. Rich Distortion provides the highest output of all B.C. Rich's humbucker-shot enough to deliver smooth, fluid solo tones under gain, while still being capable of bell-like clean tones. Hand built in their Santa Barbara, CA, factory, the Distortion uses a large ceramic bar magnet, nickel-silver bottom plate, 4conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.

The SSL6 Custom Flat for single coil guitars are specially overwound single-coil that strikes the perfect balance between increased output, and bouncy single coile tonal character. Your single notes will sound bold, and your solos will really sing. The middle position Custom Flat RWRP (Reverse Wound Reverse Polarity) single coil uses the same flat hand-ground Alnico 5 rod magnets and special high-output coil winding as the standard version, but is made reverse wound/reverse polarity to provide noiseless operation when combined with the neck or bridge pickups in positions 2 and 4. On its own, it will give you the same balanced, beefed up, and punchy tone as the standard wound model.

Grover Locking Tuning Machines From the makers of the world's finest machine heads, come the superb Grover 'RotoGrip' tuners, which now both lock and fine tune! With this new system, changing strings has never been easier just thread the string through the tuner post hole, pull it tight, and turn the thumb wheel clockwise. An internal pin locks the string, and you're ready to tune. Additionally, when replacing strings, Grover's unique design prevents the thumb wheel from falling out, so you won't lose it! With an 18:1 gear ratio, precise tuning occurs in seconds just a few turns of the tuner button and you are locked' in tune.

Floyd Rose 1000 Series The 1000 Series Original is the Korean-made version of the Original Tremolo, made to the same specifications and materials, but is available only to exclusive guitar manufacturers.
