1983 Ibanez X-series RR550CS Rocket Roll Guitar:
Refurbished with new electronics and pickups and ready for professional play. Top-of-the-line for 1983, this guitar includes the bound maple 3-ply body, bound rosewood fretboard, bound headstock, and comes with original Ibanez Hard Rocker-Pro tremolo system. Includes original Ibanez Smooth Tuner II gold-finished tuners and Sure Grip II control knobs. New pickups are to match/exceed originals and are Alnico 5 Gold-cased @7-8 ohms in neck and Alnico 5 Zebra @15-15 ohms in bridge. Upgraded input plug for greater durability and new bone nut. Comes with original case and copies of the original brochure. We tried to show the majority of the finish blemishes, all of which have been repaired to reduce further damage - overall the guitar is in excellent shape, plays/sounds remarkable, and has plenty of attitude!
