I bought this new and it was the most expensive Stratocaster at Guitar Center.
if you’re waiting to steal a so-so Strat, this ain’t your guitar.
I’ve played a lot of Stratocasters in my 70 years, and is by far the finest.
Note the Seymour’s at the bridge. I’ve never seen one configured this way.
I’ve always taken care of it. No scratches through the black or buckle marks.
Most Stats weigh between 7.9 and 8.6 pounds. This weighs over 10 because it’s made of ash. It has the sustain (almost!) of a Les Paul. I just had a back surgery that was incredibly painful. The pain will get better, but by a little, not a lot.
So I bought a Les Paul Modern Lite. It weighs just over 6 pounds. I can stand with this one, but I can’t with the Strat.
I’ll cut the price by $25 so my Watchers will see. I’m not going to cheap sell it though.
Nicest Strat you’ll ever play…
Dave
