This particular compressor uses 1 12AX7 tube and I don't recall what it came with stock but I currently have a NOS RCA black plate that sounds out of this world and great on vocals and kick drum. The top of the unit has some rack rash from pulling out to replace the tube. I have 2 of these units and rarely use them at the same time so I am selling one And keeping one.
