In 1988 I bought a ford Ranger pickup truck, I believe the color was pacific Blue. I have always been a Pelham Blue nut and it was close. Around 2016 or so I had it painted, and told my buddy to use the codes for Pelham Blue, so I had a Pelham Blue Ford Ranger pickup. Around that time I had picked this P Bass up at a local flea market, and he painted this bass the same time he painted my truck, and it turned out great. It was routed for a Jazz pickup at the bridge, and I had an old chrome guard set up for 3 knobs, so the magic was created. I do not remember if the P Bass pickups are the original or not. The weight is 11 pounds, 2 ounces, so fairly hefty. We sold it immediately, the owner went out and bought a 200.00 Fender case for it, included, and played it a good bit between then and now. It is in nice shape, but signs of player wear do pop up. It is a killer looking bass and sounds great, and was tickled to get it back in the shop.
