The Tomahawk is another great addition to Greer's acclaimed pedal lineup. Boasting a big "tweed"-style tone but in a compact pedal enclosure, the Tomahawk can give you tasteful low-gain tones to hair-raising levels of gain.

With conventional Drive and Volume controls, the tone of the pedal can be adjusted using the Treble knob, bringing in the more top-end the higher you crank it up. Above 12 o-clock will give you plenty of cut, able to stand out in even the busiest of mixes.

With the ability to power the pedal at 9V or 18V, you can affect the tone of the pedal even further. At 9V you can expect more compression and focus, whilst at 18V the pedal will have more headroom to give you a wider, untamed sound, similar to the purest of Tweed amplifiers at full volume.

The Tomahawk Deluxe Drive is a great medium gain “second stage” overdrive pedal. This beauty barks and snarls, but it can also lean back and simply shift your tone just a bit. This pedal has a purposeful EQ shift that puts it squarely in the “tweed” type tonal range.
