Selling for my Dad

For sale, Fender Statocaster plus deluxe. The serial number starts with N3, so I’m assuming it was built in 1993. I purchased this guitar new at Guitar Center in Atlanta in 1994.

The guitar has the striking Crimson burst color with see through to the grain. It has a Rosewood finger board. LSR roller nut, Schaller locking tuners. The pickups are Lace Sensor, Blue, Silver and Red. Comes with 2 point American bridge with pop-in tremolo arm. It came with a standard white 3 layer Fender pick guard. Unfortunately an over enthusiastic luthier put string trees on the head stock while he was setting up the guitar, thinking I would be pleased. I wasn’t. They do not however have any adverse effect on the guitars tuning or playability. The trees can easily be removed, but that leaves 2 small barely noticeable screw holes. Buyer’s call. The truss rod is the two piece bi-flex rod. There is a chip in the paint on the butt end, close to the strap peg.( shown in pictures). Included is the original Fender red stripe plus grey molded case. This guitar has been out of the house only 2 or 3 times in the 20 plus years I have owned the guitar. It has never been used in serious gigging. Minimal wear on the frets. This is an awesome Strat. The darker color matched with the rosewood fretboard is a great combination. The Lace pickups are quiet and versatile. Included is literature from Fender giving detailed instruction on care. set up, and overall care of the guitar.
