John Petrucci JP6 Ernie Ball Musicman Signature guitar
Pearl Redburst with a Rosewood fretboard and a Birdseye flame maple neck with shield inlays
Comes with original hardshell case
Made in America
This is an early 2000's John Petrucci signature guitar by Musicman. The color is Pearl Redburst but it looks more like wine to me. The neck is beautiful with birdseye and flame throughout. The guitar also has the John Petrucci shield inlays on the fretboard. Not all JP6 guitars had shields. In the early 2000s the shield inlays were an option that you had to pay extra for. There is a chip in the paint in the arm carve and an an approximately inch and a half scratch through the paint between the bridge and the arm carve. There are a couple of other small dings and some light buckle rash on the back. The original 3 way switch was defective and had to be replaced with another switch from Musicman. The new switch was professionally installed. Other than the replaced switch the guitar is completely original. The guitar has 24 frets and a the original tremelo arm. The guitar comes with the original hardshell case.
