Extra Thick Celluloid Red Tortoise Shell Guitar Blank Sheets for 1-ply Tele, Gibson Pickguards. This is a very hard to find high-quality .105” extra thick (nearly 1/8”) 100% real translucent celluloid with the classic vintage deep red tortoise shell pattern seen on so many pre-1970 acoustic and electric guitars and mandolins. 7” x 11” x .105” (178mm x 280mm x 2mm) - Large enough for multiple guitar and/or mandolin pickguards (see diagram). Can be used for bound and unbound elevated pickguards.
Pictures show the basic tortoise shell pattern and colors. Tortoise pattern will vary from piece to piece. Note: Both sides have protective film so only light buffing is needed for a glossy finish.
