Well Preserved and Lightly Used Vintage Whitehall Snare Drum Kit.
14"x5" Blue Sparkle Snare Drum, Original Stand, in the Original Case.
Whitehall was made by Pearl in Japan and this Snare was manufactured to be sold 1965-1966. See last pic.
This Whitehall Snare has 6-lugs and an internal adjustable muffler. It appears to have the original heads, snare wires, and throw off.
Snare has been taken apart and lovingly cleaned, oiled, and brought back to life.
The Original Snare Stand has been cleaned and is in perfect working order. It is missing one rubber foot.
The Original Case is in decent shape with one very rough spot, see pictures. There is also some marker writing on the front of the case. But for a 60 year old Snare case, it has held up well.
This snare sounds great. I tuned it high and it "cracks" so well. If these are the original heads, Evans and Remo need to learn how to make them like this again.
