this is a rhodes mark ii. heres the long and short of it—this is a studio or stage ready instrument after it gets a key leveling and quick “voicing”. i just don’t have the time amidst studio work.
local rhodes technician ID’s this keyboard to be a 1979—likely one of the first Mk. II’s off the line.
i’ve already had the felt dampers, hammer tips, tone bar screws and rubber grommets replaced. i’ve also installed brand new legs and crossbars from Vintage Vibe. The travel lid, the sustain pedal, everything is all in working shape and ready to rock and roll.
