The 60s Standard Les Paul stays true to the Les Paul goal of that era-same body shape the world loved but with a slimmer neck and hotter pickups. More suited for heavier rock and fast picked licks, the Les Paul Standard 60s is a Rock & Roll machine. This guitar weighs 9.5 lbs and is in good shape, with a bit of buckle rash and wear on top of the headstock. The pickups have been swapped out- Seymour Duncan PAF in the neck and an Alnico II in the bridge. The frets are in very good shape, and the original hard shell case is included.
For rock, blues, hard rock, heavy metal or otherwise, the Standard 60s Les Paul is hard to beat.
