Up for sale is my coveted Ampeg SVT, of which I am the original owner from 1984, which makes this an MTI era model. Honestly, I’ve been in love with this amp ever since I got it, and I have procrastinated getting rid of it for over 10 years! ~ and I’m still in love with it! it’s always been in an smoke free environment, mostly my home, or studio, and it has relatively low hours, because back in my day, I did not want to travel with it for fear of damage, and or weight restrictions traveling - I often would use a cheaper amp that I was not so fond of and emotional about, lol. And it’s been sitting in my studio for the last 10 years! I got it retubed about five years ago, and enjoy firing it up in my son‘s studio just for the fun of it. But due to recent major back surgery, I am now forced to get rid of it. It will ship in the Calzone case in the picture, and I estimate the weight of the amp itself at about 80 pounds; with the anvil case being another 15 pounds or so. UPS quoted approximately $280 to ship to the furthest point away (Seattle) from Atlanta, Ga - or it can be picked up locally just north of the Atlanta Georgia area.
