This is not typically something in our realm here at Relic, but this came in with a large collection. It's a Balalaika and based on the receipts provided it seems to be a higher quality one despite the lack of branding. It was purchased from Lark in the Morning in 2001 for quite a bit more than we're listing it for. The label inside looks to read Gunter Penzel, and states that it was made in Germany with what we're assuming is the year 2000.
Condition: "Good'. It has general wear and tear. The finish has witness lines and sinkage around many of the hard edges and there are some things with the construction that appear to be a tad crude. The finish has some very light checking when hit in the right light and there is a tad bit of fret sprout. The wood pickguard has began to cup slightly on the Bass side of the instrument.
