Very good condition 1933 Martin OM-18 in a very nice shade top finish. Although the exact history of this example is a bit spotty, luthier Leo Posch was responsible for all of the work mentioned below (if you are not familiar with his work, he has plenty of examples online of his conversions!). Outside of the replaced shade top Adirondack top, it appears the sides and back were also professionally refinished. Planetary tuners accompany the authentic Martin neck replacement. The neck profile on this example is quite chunky, but fits the hand nice and constantly up the fretboard. No cracks or major repairs to speak of outside of a very nicely replaced crack on the bottom bout (additional photos happily provided!). Frets have plenty of life left. Bridge is in good condition and is not lifting. There is some very nice wood grain popping through the finish on this example, as pictured. Replacement pickguard is in good shape with very minimal lifting, if at all. All braces are in good shape with no repairs needed/to note. Sides and back are also in very nice shape, as pictured. I would describe the tone of this example as being surprisingly on the woody/thumpy side, while opening up exceptionally well when played with a pick. String tension is on the tighter side currently. Bridge pins are tight and not moving. Tuners work well and hold tune nicely. Intonation is spot on. Neck is nice and straight. There is currently what looks to be an LR Baggs pickup installed in this example. Comes with a hard shell case that fits the guitar nicely, as pictured. Willing to ship or drive a reasonable distance. Always open to offers!
