This 1991 Orville by Gibson Les Paul Standard plays and sounds great! This one has been through a lot over the many years but is still a quality instrument from the Terada Factory in Japan.
This guitar shows quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and chips throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. Most notably, the fret inlays have been wood filled and only one of the pearl fret inlays remains. The binding along the neck has also chipped and aged form over time and the hardware shows normal tarnishing. The front of the headstock shows some lacquer wear from over time and the area around the Orville by Gibson logo has a cloudy appearance. The lettering of the lead/rhythm switch plate has also faded from over time. The frets are used but still play great overall and the electronics work as they should.
The bridge humbucker is missing a cover and the pickguard and pickup rings are replacements. The pearl inlays have either chipped off from over time or had been removed. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
Includes the pictured gig bag.
